The Strength of the Confidence of the City of The Mighty

A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.  Proverbs 21:22

Recently barbf provided a link in one of her comments to an article called,  From PSYOP to MindWar:  The Psychology of Victory by Colonel Paul E. Vallely, Commander,  with Major Michael A. Aquino, PSYOP Research & Analysis Team Leader, Headquarters, 7th Psychological Operations Group, United States Army Reserve, Presidio of San Francisco, CA, 1980.

Barb is well-known in the Christian Alternative Media as a person who was once deeply loyal to the Steve Quayle/Doug Hagmann/Rick Wiles’ ministries, but at one point reversed course and now offers her insights as an adversary against these same personalities.  We “argue” constantly behind the scenes, so the main thread which bonds us is that we agree to disagree. One of the intriguing things about Barb is that she is an internet pack rat; that is,  she saves everything, and I mean everything.  So here is an article which she has  surreptitiously laid in the comment room of my blog, so now I suppose I have to read it, which means I have to comment on it, because I am one of those people that cannot leave well enough alone.

Alright, so here goes.  In the 10 page article referred to above, the difference between the terms PSYOP and Mind War is described. PSYOPs involve propaganda, which in turn involves lies and half truths.  Mind War involves only Truth.  Thus Jacques Ellul is quoted on page 8 as saying,The propagandist is not, and cannot be, a “believer”.  He is merely a man at the service of a party, a state, or some other organization, and his task is to insure the efficiency of that organization…If the propagandist has any political conviction he must put it aside in order to be able to use some popular mass ideology.  He cannot even share that ideology, for he must use it as an object and manipulate it without the respect that he would have for it if he believed in it.  He quickly acquires contempt for these popular images and beliefs…”

Three paragraphs beneath this quote, the article says, “Unlike Ellul’s cynical propagandist, the MindWar operative must know that he speaks the truth, and he must be personally committed to it. What he says is only a part of MindWar; the rest – and the test of its effectiveness – lies in the conviction he projects to his audience, in the rapport he establishes with it.  And this is nothing that can be easily faked, if in fact it can be faked at all.  “Rapport”, which the Comprehensive Dictionary of Psychological and Psychoanalytical Terms defines as “unconstrained relations of mutual confidence”, approaches the subliminal; some researchers have suggested that it is itself a subconscious and even perhaps even ESP-based “accent” to an overt exchange of information.”

Now, earlier, on page 5, this definition was printed in bold letters:  MindWar is the deliberate, aggressive convincing of all participants in a war that we will win that war. When it comes to war strategy,  PSYOP doctrine is considered to be a force multiplier, or a means of enhancing another well established war strategy; whereas,  MindWar is “the strategy to which tactical warfare must conform, if it is to achieve maximum effectiveness”.

On page 9, the article concludes by analyzing the will of the individual person,  saying, “For the mind to believe in its own decisions, it must feel that it made those decisions without coercion.  Coercive measures used by the operative, consequently, must not be detectible by ordinary means…”.

This strategy represents the heart of the leopard Meroz, in my experience.  Understand that Tracking the Leopard Meroz has emphasized time and again, that I want my readers to step away from coercion so that they can make decisions which are in their own self interests. Therefore I wander around this Christian Alternative Media universe, which I believe represents  a mixture of both PSYOP methods as well as MindWar strategies,  attempting to detect the subtilty of Meroz’s coercive tactics.

Now here is the justification of the MindWar strategy and it represents a lie: the article on page 3 says, The advantage of MindWar is that it conducts wars in nonlethal, noninjurious, and nondestructive ways.  Essentially you overwhelm your enemy with argument.  You seize control of all of the means by which his government and populace process information to make up their minds, and you adjust it so that those minds are made up as you desire.  Everyone is happy, no one gets hurt or killed, and nothing is destroyed.  Ordinary warfare, on the other hand, is characterized by its lack of reason…The only loser in MindWar are the war profiteers…”.

When one reads the Bible, you will note the continual use of traditional warfare methods on physical battlegrounds, particularly in the Old Testament.  There were sound reasons for this, both in the physical realm, and also the spiritual.  MindWar which uses persuasive arguments involving whole truths, is very lethal and destructive in the hands of Satan.  And we must remember that the author Michael A. Aquino openly has declared himself to be a Satanist.  As noted in my post on MOOtana and Beyond, this whole military Psychological Operations Group is seen in the history of the Christian Alternative Media which had its roots in Coast to Coast AM, of which Steve Quayle and Doug Hagmann were prominent features. And no, in MindWar there are still profiteers present: instead of cannon manufacturers, one finds merchandisers of prepper supplies, books, metals and small armaments.

Mark 14:55 relates, And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none. Now that was a problem, just as Balaam in Numbers 23:8 was looking to solve these questions, How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed?  or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?  The MindWar strategy is an attempt to solve the problem created by the very real existence of genuine Bible believing Christians on this earth. In this Psychological Operations article, we have one of the authors who is a self-professed Satanist, declaring that he has a MindWar strategy to which traditional warfare strategies should bow the knee.  This method involves the open declaration of whole truths to which the MindWar operative believes himself. I offer Steve Quayle as an excellent example of this type of operative.

The goal of these End Time ministries, besides encouraging the wisdom of  personal prepping, has another underlying purpose for the Satanist; that is,  to make it through the Tribulation without taking the mark of the beast, which brings the wrath of God upon it. In those days, the fence sitter will be in a real quandary: how to avoid both  the wrath of Satan and the wrath of God? This dilemma has always been there, it will just be more of a high pressure situation in the End days.

The desire here for the fence sitter and the Satanist who knows that in the end that he will be in great trouble, is that they want to be part of the scene of Revelation 15:2, And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Even the Satanist knows that Psalm 119:137 is true; TZADDI.  Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments. God has certain  inbuilt safeguards in his words, for example, Ephesians 2:8-9, reveals,  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ever notice how much boasting is done by these anointed Watchmen of God? Is that not the fruit of having a salvation based on their own works?

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 also identifies an inbuilt safeguard of the truth which God has designed in his own words:  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Nowhere in this article on PSYOPs and MindWar do the authors relate their use of the word truth back to the source of all Truth, God the Father,  His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  The truth which Aquino refers to is nothing more than Strong Delusion. The line in the sand in the times of the Antichrist is this: worship Satan or die by starvation or by beheading.  There are preppers who actually believe that they can avoid the buy/sell conditions and endure by these means, to the end. Both Satan and God will stand against them.

Many of these alternative media personalities believe in a false Jesus and a false spirit and a false gospel, and this can be verified by listening to their actual testimony spoken on Christian alternative radio. Whereas, God says that salvation is by grace so that none can boast, quite a number of these persons declare that they were saved with archangel Michael present, replete with the presence of light, and the immediate anointing and appointment of being great men of God. No humility there; only boasting. Whereas Moses had to wait 40 years, these men become deliverance leaders immediately upon “salvation”.

As a parting thought, consider what is represented in the folly found in Numbers 26:61, And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD. Was that not what America’s high priests in essence did, when they set off an atomic bomb at the Trinity Site on July 16, 1945? That strange fire represented I AM the angel Shiva, the Destroyer of Worlds. America was changed forever in that one day.   Or as J. Robert Oppenheimer, one of the designers of the atomic weapon said,” Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds” –  and he was speaking the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The title of this article declares, From PSYOP to MindWar:  The Psychology of Victory. We must therefore ask,  Victory for Whom?
