The War of Silent Lightning

Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.  Jeremiah 23:19

Last Saturday, January 21, 2017, my husband woke me up at 4 A.M. to look at a massive lightning storm which had moved into Central Mississippi.  Hundreds and hundreds of bolts of electricity lit up the darkness of the early morning sky in utter silence; an unearthly silence which is unusual in this neck of the woods.  We are used to storms with a lot of thunder, nerve wracking boomers which shake the walls.  It was so quiet that Gary mused that is was an alien space invasion, and not a real storm.

I had seen this phenomenon once before, and again it was in Mississippi, during a hot summer night. I had awoken to bright lights flashing through the curtains, and at first  thought someone was outside.  It was a huge electrical storm, without wind or rain, and the silence was eerie.

On Saturday morning as we watched the storm, our electricity went out for several hours. Later, heavy rains fell without any wind effects.  When the electricity came back on, the local news reported that a tornado had touched down in Purvis, at 4 AM.  We then heard that there were two more tornadoes which had caused tremendous property damage and loss of life, just north east of us in the cities of  Hattiesburg and Petal.  William Carey University, which is a private Christian institution recognizable for its Knight Crusaders logo,  sustained extensive damage to every  building.  No longer was the tornado which had touched down in the forests of Purvis worthy of mention.

What was of interest to me about the Purvis tornado was that it had touched down 1.5 miles south of us on Old Highway 11, which is the road running directly behind our house. With tremendous force, this whirlwind came down with a wide shearing edge and cut down quite a number of large healthy pine trees at the base. The power lines went down, and a metal electrical tower collapsed in a twisted heap of metal.  Crossing a clear cut in the forest, it veered off to the north east and went through a back section of the neighborhood we live in.  It knocked down some trees there, and ripped shingles off of several homes, and either dissipated or skipped over to the forest behind them.

This is the second time we have experienced a tornado touching down in this area. On February 11, 2013, an F5 tornado ravaged Hattiesburg and the surrounding countryside.  Four miles north of us on Old Highway 11, this F5 had wiped a house totally off its foundation. That particular tornado caused atmospheric pressure changes so intense, I could feel them 4 miles away where I was at home.   The Bible has a lot to say about tornadoes, referenced in the King James Holy Bible as whirlwinds, generally a sign of the presence and judgment of God.

In the occult world of magical operations,  particularly those which represent curses, words and rituals can create unseen funnel forms called whirlwinds, vortices, or tourbillons. Many years ago, in 2001, I received a sublime warning in the mail which had been addressed to our place of business.  After my husband opened this envelope, he  brought it home for me to view, and laughingly said, “Here, it’s for you.”  The envelope had no return address, and was postmarked  from Oakland, California.  There was no note other than what appeared to be some sort of tarot card; however, unlike tarot cards, there was no number, just an image with the word harmony.

We had no access to the internet at that time, so I wandered over to the New Age Center which was a block from our Denton, Texas business.  Two women were there, and they said that they had never seen this type of card.  But they observed that since it came from Oakland, California, it was definitely a threat. Apparently that area had a bad reputation in the eyes of these New Age folks.  One of the women  said she could read auras, and staring at me with great intent,  declared that my aura was white and that I had no malice in my heart, so she did not understand why this card was sent to me.  Meanwhile a creepy, crazed man came in the door, telling everyone  that he had just seen a vortex down the street in front of the newspaper office. When this got the group talking about the ley lines in Denton, I departed their company.

So, here in this post we are moving from a real example in nature of whirlwinds, which can be observed as a result of the earth’s balancing’s of energy as hot and cold winds collide, to discussing a similar pattern which has been reported by occultists to occur in the unseen spiritual world. Praying is a spiritual activity which can cause great disturbances in the unseen plane of existence, thus we are going to consider what is in the heart of the person who is engaged in fervent prayer.

Now just imagine for a moment that  you are sitting in church, and there are two men up front; one a genuine Christian, and the other a Satanist. They both are wearing the same clothes, have the same half smile, same deep voices, same haircut and body build.  These two men are asked to read two verses of scripture, and you are to detect which is the real Christian from the false.  Now there is a 50% chance that you can get it right, just by tossing a coin.  But in this challenge, you have to state exactly why you have made the judgment which you have made.

Both of these men are asked to read out loud Hebrews 4:12-13:  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight:  but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Now what these verses say is that the word of God is a discerner of the motives of those who read or hear it.  That fact alone ought to give you pause as you read the Bible.  Who cares if the NSA is observing you through your camera on your computer monitor?  God is observing how you handle his words.

Did you know that the book of preference for a modern English speaking Satanist performing a curse against another person, is the King James Holy Bible? Some years ago, I read the 1962 classic work on theurgy written by Mouni Sadhu called The Tarot. It was this book that had alerted me to the fact that occultists like to pray using the Scriptures.  Now of course because of their unbelief in Jesus Christ, this poses a rather peculiar problem.  They believe the words while at the same time they disbelieve the words. The words of God become to them as ” natural universal principles” which they can apply, while ignoring the Creator of those very same laws.

On page 29 of Mouni Sadhu’s lessons on The Tarot, he discusses the funnel like forms which the occultist sees in the unseen world called tourbillons or vortexes, and says they are “astral creations of force which are the bases of all astro-mental realizations”.  Again, this is the whirlwind phenomena in the unseen world, similar to what we see in the physical weather system of a tornado.

Mouni  Sadhu tells us, “Knowledge of the laws ruling over tourbillons and their construction, is one of the foremost principles of magic.  Although it CANNOT be given in open language to the public at large, it has been sufficiently described for initiates in this course, under the veil of Kabbalistic structures.  The most guarded secrets of Hermetic magic are: finding the point of support for the tourbillon on the physical plane, and the formula of transition from the astral to the physical world.”

You have to wonder if the chiefest of magicians can actually create a tornado such as the ones which went through the Hattiesburg area,  to destroy physical structures as well as life.  I am no magician, and as a Christian, it would be dangerous to walk too far into that world view; yet it helps to have an overall understanding of  the perspective of magicians as a means of knowing the differences between false and true views of the Scriptures.  On page 165,  Mouni Sadhu gives some examples of why a curse against another person might not work, and he uses the Scriptures to illustrate his points; for example, what believers call the armour of God, occultists have what is called the odic cloak, or armour.

He says on page 166, “In all these cases, the tourbillon will not touch the victim for whom it was destined; but the very FACT OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE TOURBILLON BROUGHT SOME LOCAL BREAK IN THE BALANCE OF THE SURROUNDING ASTRAL FORMS.  The astral environment must then attain a newly balanced state by the creation of a cliché of that balance (nothing perishes in Nature).  If the action cannot hit the original target, it will act on some other entity, which will be the one most tied to the astral tourbillon by the astrosome.  And who will that be? Of course, in the first place, the operator or sender himself, and the energy he has created will react against himself.  This is known as the ‘return blow’.”

He adds, “In order to avoid such return blows, representatives of black magic always secure themselves in their magic operations, by directing the force of a vortex against TWO persons, ensuring that it is stronger against the true target than against the substitute”.

From these words, one can see why an anonymous person in California sent me a card with the word Harmony.  It was a warning that my prayers had caused a break in their unseen world.  They were essentially warning that harmony or balance would be restored, and it would come back on me as a return blow. Now when I had been in prayer years ago against some evil doers, it appears that the occultist had secondarily targeted my youngest daughter, who was a young and vulnerable person. In fact, she had been hit with extreme ferocity by “something” which did not relent.  As her mother, it became my responsibility to protect her in prayer and to attempt to strengthen her faith in Jesus Christ, so she could stand on her own. That all happened back in 1999, some eighteen years ago.

So here I was in 2015, years later,  listening to Hagmann and Hagmann on the internet, while I worked on sewing and art projects. As far as I was concerned this show was just your usual Christian Alternative Media blather and hype.   Then I heard the  February 10, 2015 broadcast about the  “character assassinations” being made against them by two persons, and for which Steve Quayle and Doug Hagmann had written a joint response.

When I read this article,  I was astonished at the underlying structure, which had taken the form of a curse pattern that I was acquainted with from those prior years. What took me by surprise was that they had printed these words for public view; usually these things are kept private. I had never even heard of these two people being targeted, before this article brought their names to my attention.

Are you able to tell the difference between an imprecatory prayer said by a genuine believer in Jesus Christ, and that of the occultist who is magically operating in the unseen world?  Can you discern the differences between the Pastor who has saving faith in Jesus Christ and that of a Satanist, if they both read the exact same words?  If not, it is time to devote a greater portion of your day to reading your Bible for understanding.  While it may be of some use to read occult literature, it is not at all necessary to do so.  What the focus of your mind and heart should be centered on are what the words of God actually say, and what is your own heart motive towards those words.

Months ago a reader of this blog who had emailed Steve Quayle, received back an angry retort in which Jesus Christ was asked to judge between the two. However, in his mind the outcome of that judgment was already clear, for he then added,  “You will reap the worldwind!” .    I do not know if the use of the word “worldwind” as a substitute for “whirlwind” was  deliberate; but the impression left was that this whirlwind would be a great one.

In and of itself, there is nothing wrong with asking Christ to judge between yourself and another person; but unless you are entirely without sin in the matter, the outcome may not be as predictable as you desire. Who knows what the balancings of whirlwinds in this War of Silent Lightning must occur, in order to restore harmony?  I know this as a matter of heart conviction; if I were to ask Jesus Christ to judge between me and another person, no matter how good I think I am, the Lord will find something in me which needs purifying and chastening, and I had best humble myself in prayer. I cannot find in the Scriptures where anyone can ever find rest in the pride of their  own heart.
