The Common Sense Guide to Filthy Lucre

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:  from such withdraw thyself.  I Timothy 6:4-5

If you look up the word filthy lucre in the Bible, you will find yourself walking down a trail of words used interchangeably, such as lucre, gain, profit, and covetousness. If you look up the words gold and silver, and are interested in what will happen during the future historical period of Jacob’s trouble, and the mark of the beast, you will discover that the Bible has drawn a line in the sand regarding Money.

Going back to the Old Testament we find in Exodus 20:23, the command, “Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.”  Psalm 115:4 declares, “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.”  In Isaiah 2:18-20, we discover that in the day of the LORD, that “the idols he shall utterly abolish.  And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.  In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats…”

Going forward to the book of Revelation 13, we read that the dwellers on earth will receive a command by a beast which comes up out of the earth, who has two horns like a lamb, but speaks as a dragon, “that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live”.  This false prophet has “the power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed”.  A mark is given to those who worship this beast so that they may continue to “buy or sell”.

Thus both God and Satan will draw a line in the sand between those who truly worship God, and those who worship  Money, or Mammon. Luke 16 addresses Mammon in the parable of the unjust steward, and one of the conclusions states, “No servant can serve two masters:  for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.  Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.”  It is interesting that the very next two  verses observe, “And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.  And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men:  but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.”

When one listens to the end times commentary of Steve Quayle on various internet  radio sites, he asserts that the Pre Tribulation Rapture theory is a hoax.  Therefore when the days arrive when only those who take the mark of the beast are allowed to buy or sell, Christians should have stocked up in the days prior with gold, silver, precious metals, and survival foods, all of which he just happens to sell.

Now, it is apparent that there are believers in Jesus Christ during the Tribulation period, for they do not take the mark and are put to death.  Whether these are people who believed in Jesus prior to this point in history; or whether, if the church had been taken up, these believers are ones who come to faith during the worst period of history on earth, I do not know. Examine these things for yourself, and be fully persuaded in your own mind, as to the truth of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory.

I was listening to a portion of the Dave Hodges’ Common Sense Show, dated September 28, 2015.  This show is entitled, Dave Hodges Interviews Steve Quayle- A Must Listen Interview Regarding WWIII and Christian Persecution.  At the 2 hour mark, Dave Hodges explains that Renaissance Precious Metals is the sponsor of this show, and that he had some time back, purchased metals from Steve Quayle.  Hodges emphasizes that “I approached him, he did not approach me”, and he encourages his listeners to call Steve the next morning.

Steve Quayle then reminds the listeners, most of whom have heard this over and over, that he has been in the precious metals business for thirty plus years.  This is followed by a few comments on men’s desire to have gold.  He tells us that “Gold is the elemental representation of the shining glory of God”. He notes that from the beginning of time, that “fallen angels traded in gold because it is something you need”.

Fallen angels were gold hoarders? I should be persuaded to base my actions on the example of  what fallen angels have done?  Quayle asserts that “The elite want the physical metals delivered to their hand so when people panic into selling it, they sell it at a loss, because then they want to go back into the stockmarket”.  I guess the Elite have the same economic motives as the fallen angels.  Get everyone to put all their savings into precious metals, and then when the disaster does not strike, and they need liquidity, the poor fools will sell at a loss.  The Prudent Man Rule used in legal theory suggests that diversification of assets is wise, in order to weather changing times.  And I am guessing that the fallen angels and the elite never believed Proverbs 3:13-14, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.  For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.”

Now it is interesting that Steve Quayle says that gold is the elemental representation of God’s glory, and he mentions all of the furniture  in the temple which were covered in gold, the streets in heaven are paved with gold, etc. etc. Revelation 17:4 also mentions that there is a golden cup held by the whore of Babylon, that Center of Merchandising.  This particular golden cup is “full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication”.  This same golden cup in the Old Testament is mentioned in relation with judgment; and in the New Testament book of Revelation it is related to double judgment.  You see, the fallen angels and their ruler love gold vessels also.

James 5:1-3 says, “Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.  Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth eaten.  Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.  Ye have heaped up treasure together for the last days.”  And I Peter 1:18 says, “For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”  It would appear that God does not think that  elemental gold is necessarily a representation of his glory.

Now why did not Quayle put these two verses as power points on the overhead projector at the Whitestone Conference?  Oops.  I should not have suggested that, as  I was not there.  If anyone can prove that Steve Quayle put up these two verses at his Renaissance Precious Metals website, or that he displayed these two scriptures as Power Points when discussing the purchase  of gold and silver, I will send you one of my most prized prepper supplies: a free prayer rug printed on paper.

Steve Quayle has been hyping it up for 25 years or so, but let’s keep it current, like the 2012 disaster predictions.  Here is  the forum with a post from Large Sarge on June 13, 2012, telling us of a Q Alert from Steve Quayle. At the top of this forum, I am given a message, “If you are not currently a member, please register.  You will have to answer some questions related to silver and gold to gain membership.”  I wonder if I am allowed to quote Scripture.  Anyways, back in 2012 Steve Quayle was giving us warning after warning, and a certain “insider” listener sent an urgent message which begins by saying, Steve, tell your listeners to ignore ETFs and continue buying SILVER and GOLD no matter what “spot price” is.  Please tell them to take cash out NOW!!!  Only keep in bank what you can afford to lose and what you need to pay bills and expenses.  Please tell them to get money out NOW!!!  They have till December the latest to do so. Be mindful that it CAN HAPPEN SOONER.  Prices of Metals without manipulation $1000 SILVER $5000 GOLD- Steve, Great show, I’m listening to you right now.

Well, Steve, I am listening to you right now also.  Now in the Dave Hodges interview of Steve Quayle dated September 28, 2015 (Second Hour-first 11 minutes), Steve complains to Dave that he gets emails and criticism.  Yuh think so?  After what you proclaimed in 2012 never came to pass?  So Steve Quayle says in a high-pitched voice mocking his own clients, “I bought silver at 30-now it is 15. I’ve lost half my value.  You’ve ruined my life!!”  And he then doth protests in a lower voice pretending to be him, “No, you haven’t.  You’ve got your metals”.  Farther down the audio lane, he complains about his customers who protest that because “anything we say does not happen, we are liars”.  Is there no possibility whatsoever, Steve, that you could be proved to be a liar? Are you hanging out with those moles again?

Here is a comment by one of the members of this elite society of the Christian Filthy Lucre Club,  Doug Hagmann.  After the 148 minute, on the August 4, 2014 Hagmann & Hagmann Report, he responds to a caller’s comment on insiders “V” and “W”, saying,  I’ve had enough conversations.  Yeah, I’ve got to tell you,I’ve had enough conversations with both “V” and “W” that I would, I would take, I would take whatever they said to the bank and there are very few people I would do that with. There are certain people that said, ‘Hey, you know, I’m in Miami right now, and its July 4, and there is a foot of snow on the ground.’  If they, you know, if they told me that, I would have to believe them just based on their track record, barring any type, you know, something neurologically wrong with them…..

Later down the prepper timeline, on the February 10, 2015 broadcast of the Hagmann and Hagmann Report, after the 108 minute mark, we hear Doug Hagmann asking Steve Quayle, Would you say, Steve, we are living in a hologram?  I mean, boy, I mean, that-… Quayle begins to answer by discussing acoustic levitation and the ancients moving giant blocks.  (with that DUMB under Camp Quayle, he ought to know).  Steve Quayle continues, Yeah so, here is the thing.  Do I believe we are living in a hologram? Yes.  But I believe hologram has eternal consequences.  Okay.  You know.  God is light and in him is no darkness.  Where are the deeds of mankind done?  In the dark.  We just dealt with that in the first hour. Why do people set up fake identities to attack us?  Why do they hide behind pseudonyms, and why do they hide behind falsehood and why do people gravitate to them?  I’m going to tell people this.  If you’ve gravitated to those guys, you better get a hold of John Kyle or get some deliverance because there is something in you that is attracted to lies.  To which Doug Hagman replies, Wow.  My sentiments exactly.

Now let us comment on this information.  On the January 11, 2013, Hagmann and Hagmann Report, while interviewing Steve Quayle,  we are introduced to an insider financial expert hiding behind the pseudonym “V”.  This man appears to be sort of a hologram himself,   an elusive world class expert who was created to convince us to sell everything and buy gold and silver from you know who.  As we know now, they all lied to us in 2012, and the proof of that is that Life as We Know It continued on oblivious to their dire predictions. Now in addition to the fake identity of “V”, we were given “W”, Yoda, Hawk, S, and of course at Canada Free Press, Hagmann had an insider Rosebud, The Professor… and now Quayle is saying that if we have gravitated to these psuedonyms, we are attracted to lies, and we need an exorcist or someone like that to help us.  Now what about the men who put forth these liars, and told us that these pseudonyms were trusted liars?

Now on this same January 11, 2013 radio show, about the 156 minute mark, Steve Quayle is heard saying, So, those of you who are in a position, Doug, I have said this on two show over the years, I know I have seen it in my spirit over the years, and I don’t covet anyone’s anythings, but I know that there are men and women that are elderly that have great wealth.  They love the Lord, but they have seen all this scam and sham that has gone on, and I appeal to those people.  Call me.  Write me. I know of amazing ministries.  I am not talking about me.  I know of people who can absolutely take a hundred dollars and turn it into a thousand dollars of blessings.  I am not talking about me.  So you know the bottom line is….(about 157 minute mark) And so, ladies and gentlemen, this is the same thing.  If you are being blessed on this show tonight, look, Doug doesn’t ask me to come on, and ask for money for him, but I know what it costs him to do these shows.  He lost his biggest client because he took a stand for righteousness……

So how does Steve Quayle treat elderly folk who once placed all of their savings into precious metals due to the 2012 fear mongering of Steve Quayle, V, Hawk, and friends?  Well one client actually decided to take a stand for righteousness, and so Steve Quayle made sure to make an example of her on the Dave Hodges show, by falsifying the facts and the context of the transaction involving him as seller, which had taken place. Allow me to slam two scriptures on the table.    Proverbs 17:3  says, The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold:  but the LORD trieth the hearts. And I Peter 5:2-3 commands the leaders in Christ’s Church to  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither  as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.  If you are into dreams and visions, you should be viewing a double golden cup of filthy lucre being overturned about now on the table of the Moneychangers, with the demand that these unjust stewards give an account.

Hagmann and Hagmann radio broadcasts periodically have Pastor David Lankford and Steve Quayle on their show, preaching from the Bible, and giving on-air communion to their listeners.  As usual, Steve Quayle always has to bring us the real dirt (see Night of the Betrayers: the Communion of the Blood Crowned with Dirt).  Do these men who call themselves Watchmen sent from God, think that they are exempt from the judgment of God?  Throughout this post I have commented on only the first ten or eleven minutes from the Second Hour of the Dave Hodges 928 2015 interview with Steve Quayle.  That was about all I could take, but Steve Quayle seems to have confessed the truth in this statement saying, There is no honest markets anymore.  There is no clearing for honesty anymore.  It would appear to be so. As Doug Hagmann likes to say, Wow. And Wow.
