The Common Sense Guide to Filthy Lucre

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:  from such withdraw thyself.  I Timothy 6:4-5

If you look up the word filthy lucre in the Bible, you will find yourself walking down a trail of words used interchangeably, such as lucre, gain, profit, and covetousness. If you look up the words gold and silver, and are interested in what will happen during the future historical period of Jacob’s trouble, and the mark of the beast, you will discover that the Bible has drawn a line in the sand regarding Money.

Going back to the Old Testament we find in Exodus 20:23, the command, “Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.”  Psalm 115:4 declares, “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.”  In Isaiah 2:18-20, we discover that in the day of the LORD, that “the idols he shall utterly abolish.  And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.  In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats…”

Going forward to the book of Revelation 13, we read that the dwellers on earth will receive a command by a beast which comes up out of the earth, who has two horns like a lamb, but speaks as a dragon, “that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live”.  This false prophet has “the power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed”.  A mark is given to those who worship this beast so that they may continue to “buy or sell”.

Thus both God and Satan will draw a line in the sand between those who truly worship God, and those who worship  Money, or Mammon. Luke 16 addresses Mammon in the parable of the unjust steward, and one of the conclusions states, “No servant can serve two masters:  for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.  Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.”  It is interesting that the very next two  verses observe, “And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.  And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men:  but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.”

When one listens to the end times commentary of Steve Quayle on various internet  radio sites, he asserts that the Pre Tribulation Rapture theory is a hoax.  Therefore when the days arrive when only those who take the mark of the beast are allowed to buy or sell, Christians should have stocked up in the days prior with gold, silver, precious metals, and survival foods, all of which he just happens to sell.

Now, it is apparent that there are believers in Jesus Christ during the Tribulation period, for they do not take the mark and are put to death.  Whether these are people who believed in Jesus prior to this point in history; or whether, if the church had been taken up, these believers are ones who come to faith during the worst period of history on earth, I do not know. Examine these things for yourself, and be fully persuaded in your own mind, as to the truth of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory.

I was listening to a portion of the Dave Hodges’ Common Sense Show, dated September 28, 2015.  This show is entitled, Dave Hodges Interviews Steve Quayle- A Must Listen Interview Regarding WWIII and Christian Persecution.  At the 2 hour mark, Dave Hodges explains that Renaissance Precious Metals is the sponsor of this show, and that he had some time back, purchased metals from Steve Quayle.  Hodges emphasizes that “I approached him, he did not approach me”, and he encourages his listeners to call Steve the next morning.

Steve Quayle then reminds the listeners, most of whom have heard this over and over, that he has been in the precious metals business for thirty plus years.  This is followed by a few comments on men’s desire to have gold.  He tells us that “Gold is the elemental representation of the shining glory of God”. He notes that from the beginning of time, that “fallen angels traded in gold because it is something you need”.

Fallen angels were gold hoarders? I should be persuaded to base my actions on the example of  what fallen angels have done?  Quayle asserts that “The elite want the physical metals delivered to their hand so when people panic into selling it, they sell it at a loss, because then they want to go back into the stockmarket”.  I guess the Elite have the same economic motives as the fallen angels.  Get everyone to put all their savings into precious metals, and then when the disaster does not strike, and they need liquidity, the poor fools will sell at a loss.  The Prudent Man Rule used in legal theory suggests that diversification of assets is wise, in order to weather changing times.  And I am guessing that the fallen angels and the elite never believed Proverbs 3:13-14, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.  For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.”

Now it is interesting that Steve Quayle says that gold is the elemental representation of God’s glory, and he mentions all of the furniture  in the temple which were covered in gold, the streets in heaven are paved with gold, etc. etc. Revelation 17:4 also mentions that there is a golden cup held by the whore of Babylon, that Center of Merchandising.  This particular golden cup is “full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication”.  This same golden cup in the Old Testament is mentioned in relation with judgment; and in the New Testament book of Revelation it is related to double judgment.  You see, the fallen angels and their ruler love gold vessels also.

James 5:1-3 says, “Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.  Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth eaten.  Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.  Ye have heaped up treasure together for the last days.”  And I Peter 1:18 says, “For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”  It would appear that God does not think that  elemental gold is necessarily a representation of his glory.

Now why did not Quayle put these two verses as power points on the overhead projector at the Whitestone Conference?  Oops.  I should not have suggested that, as  I was not there.  If anyone can prove that Steve Quayle put up these two verses at his Renaissance Precious Metals website, or that he displayed these two scriptures as Power Points when discussing the purchase  of gold and silver, I will send you one of my most prized prepper supplies: a free prayer rug printed on paper.

Steve Quayle has been hyping it up for 25 years or so, but let’s keep it current, like the 2012 disaster predictions.  Here is  the forum with a post from Large Sarge on June 13, 2012, telling us of a Q Alert from Steve Quayle. At the top of this forum, I am given a message, “If you are not currently a member, please register.  You will have to answer some questions related to silver and gold to gain membership.”  I wonder if I am allowed to quote Scripture.  Anyways, back in 2012 Steve Quayle was giving us warning after warning, and a certain “insider” listener sent an urgent message which begins by saying, Steve, tell your listeners to ignore ETFs and continue buying SILVER and GOLD no matter what “spot price” is.  Please tell them to take cash out NOW!!!  Only keep in bank what you can afford to lose and what you need to pay bills and expenses.  Please tell them to get money out NOW!!!  They have till December the latest to do so. Be mindful that it CAN HAPPEN SOONER.  Prices of Metals without manipulation $1000 SILVER $5000 GOLD- Steve, Great show, I’m listening to you right now.

Well, Steve, I am listening to you right now also.  Now in the Dave Hodges interview of Steve Quayle dated September 28, 2015 (Second Hour-first 11 minutes), Steve complains to Dave that he gets emails and criticism.  Yuh think so?  After what you proclaimed in 2012 never came to pass?  So Steve Quayle says in a high-pitched voice mocking his own clients, “I bought silver at 30-now it is 15. I’ve lost half my value.  You’ve ruined my life!!”  And he then doth protests in a lower voice pretending to be him, “No, you haven’t.  You’ve got your metals”.  Farther down the audio lane, he complains about his customers who protest that because “anything we say does not happen, we are liars”.  Is there no possibility whatsoever, Steve, that you could be proved to be a liar? Are you hanging out with those moles again?

Here is a comment by one of the members of this elite society of the Christian Filthy Lucre Club,  Doug Hagmann.  After the 148 minute, on the August 4, 2014 Hagmann & Hagmann Report, he responds to a caller’s comment on insiders “V” and “W”, saying,  I’ve had enough conversations.  Yeah, I’ve got to tell you,I’ve had enough conversations with both “V” and “W” that I would, I would take, I would take whatever they said to the bank and there are very few people I would do that with. There are certain people that said, ‘Hey, you know, I’m in Miami right now, and its July 4, and there is a foot of snow on the ground.’  If they, you know, if they told me that, I would have to believe them just based on their track record, barring any type, you know, something neurologically wrong with them…..

Later down the prepper timeline, on the February 10, 2015 broadcast of the Hagmann and Hagmann Report, after the 108 minute mark, we hear Doug Hagmann asking Steve Quayle, Would you say, Steve, we are living in a hologram?  I mean, boy, I mean, that-… Quayle begins to answer by discussing acoustic levitation and the ancients moving giant blocks.  (with that DUMB under Camp Quayle, he ought to know).  Steve Quayle continues, Yeah so, here is the thing.  Do I believe we are living in a hologram? Yes.  But I believe hologram has eternal consequences.  Okay.  You know.  God is light and in him is no darkness.  Where are the deeds of mankind done?  In the dark.  We just dealt with that in the first hour. Why do people set up fake identities to attack us?  Why do they hide behind pseudonyms, and why do they hide behind falsehood and why do people gravitate to them?  I’m going to tell people this.  If you’ve gravitated to those guys, you better get a hold of John Kyle or get some deliverance because there is something in you that is attracted to lies.  To which Doug Hagman replies, Wow.  My sentiments exactly.

Now let us comment on this information.  On the January 11, 2013, Hagmann and Hagmann Report, while interviewing Steve Quayle,  we are introduced to an insider financial expert hiding behind the pseudonym “V”.  This man appears to be sort of a hologram himself,   an elusive world class expert who was created to convince us to sell everything and buy gold and silver from you know who.  As we know now, they all lied to us in 2012, and the proof of that is that Life as We Know It continued on oblivious to their dire predictions. Now in addition to the fake identity of “V”, we were given “W”, Yoda, Hawk, S, and of course at Canada Free Press, Hagmann had an insider Rosebud, The Professor… and now Quayle is saying that if we have gravitated to these psuedonyms, we are attracted to lies, and we need an exorcist or someone like that to help us.  Now what about the men who put forth these liars, and told us that these pseudonyms were trusted liars?

Now on this same January 11, 2013 radio show, about the 156 minute mark, Steve Quayle is heard saying, So, those of you who are in a position, Doug, I have said this on two show over the years, I know I have seen it in my spirit over the years, and I don’t covet anyone’s anythings, but I know that there are men and women that are elderly that have great wealth.  They love the Lord, but they have seen all this scam and sham that has gone on, and I appeal to those people.  Call me.  Write me. I know of amazing ministries.  I am not talking about me.  I know of people who can absolutely take a hundred dollars and turn it into a thousand dollars of blessings.  I am not talking about me.  So you know the bottom line is….(about 157 minute mark) And so, ladies and gentlemen, this is the same thing.  If you are being blessed on this show tonight, look, Doug doesn’t ask me to come on, and ask for money for him, but I know what it costs him to do these shows.  He lost his biggest client because he took a stand for righteousness……

So how does Steve Quayle treat elderly folk who once placed all of their savings into precious metals due to the 2012 fear mongering of Steve Quayle, V, Hawk, and friends?  Well one client actually decided to take a stand for righteousness, and so Steve Quayle made sure to make an example of her on the Dave Hodges show, by falsifying the facts and the context of the transaction involving him as seller, which had taken place. Allow me to slam two scriptures on the table.    Proverbs 17:3  says, The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold:  but the LORD trieth the hearts. And I Peter 5:2-3 commands the leaders in Christ’s Church to  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither  as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.  If you are into dreams and visions, you should be viewing a double golden cup of filthy lucre being overturned about now on the table of the Moneychangers, with the demand that these unjust stewards give an account.

Hagmann and Hagmann radio broadcasts periodically have Pastor David Lankford and Steve Quayle on their show, preaching from the Bible, and giving on-air communion to their listeners.  As usual, Steve Quayle always has to bring us the real dirt (see Night of the Betrayers: the Communion of the Blood Crowned with Dirt).  Do these men who call themselves Watchmen sent from God, think that they are exempt from the judgment of God?  Throughout this post I have commented on only the first ten or eleven minutes from the Second Hour of the Dave Hodges 928 2015 interview with Steve Quayle.  That was about all I could take, but Steve Quayle seems to have confessed the truth in this statement saying, There is no honest markets anymore.  There is no clearing for honesty anymore.  It would appear to be so. As Doug Hagmann likes to say, Wow. And Wow.

Hotel California

One of the things which I have noticed about the Alternative Media stars which I take a pot shot at, is that most of them are of the same generation as I  am.  We came of age in that sixties/seventies Vietnam Peacenik hippy drug era, and we have personal memories of the assassination of JFK, student demonstrations, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, UFOs and other strange phenomena.

While in Seattle in 1970,  I moved into a rooming house one morning, and then proceeded to bicycle to my classes, and then on to my late afternoon  job.  Coming home near midnight that night I  saw a group of the other roomies in the kitchen, so I introduced myself.  Two of these were a couple living together in the basement,  named Steve and Joyce.  Steve invited me to come with them the next morning to a Peace March which was being held in San Francisco.  I did not have to work the next day so I said yes, and with $5 in my pocket I piled into a beat up Mustang with three total strangers and headed towards the Golden Gate Bridge.hotel california

The Mustang which was driven by Steve was actually owned by one of his friends,  a CIA agent who was temporarily in South America at the time.  Somewhere in California, the car broke down, traffic whizzing by us at dangerously high speeds.  Fortunately a trucker had pity on us and helped to get the car going again.  We found a motel room which would only cost us $5, if there was only one occupant.  So while Steve got the room, we hid in the bushes, and later one by one, sneaked into the room out of view of the motel clerk. With three girls, and Steve and only one little bed, two of us decided we could curl up in the overstuffed chairs.

We made it to the Peace March, and walked down a main boulevard toward the Golden Gate Bridge with about 200,000 other people.  Feeling faint with hunger we went into a pizza joint, and looked into our pockets for money.  There was not much left.  And we still had to buy gas to get home.  So Steve got bold and picked up abandoned pizza slices which had been left untouched by other patrons  who had left the restaurant.  We were starved.  One patron saw what we had done, and came over and railed on us as disgusting pigs.  We left, but we had had lunch, and felt better for it.  Steve was about 5 years older than me, and he was just starting college on the GI Bill, having recently gotten out of the army and Vietnam.  And to top off his troubles, he was suffering from the fact that he had to oversee three females, who were not much help in this adventure.

Yesterday I had been pondering  having a post title called Hotel California, when one of my readers, who prefers to fly under the radar at the moment, made a comment about, what do you know, Hotel California. What a coincidence. You  probably know this 1970’s song by The Eagles, which was written by Don Felder, Glenn Frey, and Don Henley. It begins, On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair. Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air.  Up ahead in the distance, I see a shimmering light.  My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night.  There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell, And I was thinking to myself “This could be heaven or this could be Hell”.

When I first started writing the Meroz blog, it was actually under my Starlitgardens word press blog, and I had one reader from Texas who is a defender of the Order of the Leopard.  Well, when I first came to the Hattiesburg area almost four years ago, I made the rounds of the churches.  One of them, which had once been the First Baptist Church of Hattiesburg, had been completely overturned by the clever maneuverings of a couple of people, who by changing the church bylaws gained power and were able to run off all of the older, loyal members of the church.  What had once been the youth minister was now the Senior Pastor, and the church has since evolved into a church for rebels.

The day I went to visit this church which had removed Baptist from their name, to become First Church, (now renamed again Venture Church)  it started out well. One of the parking attendants found out that it was my first visit,  and he gave me a general tour, showing me where the irreverent Coffee vendors were located, and pointing out the illustrious Pastor mentoring a group of young men.  I went into a dark sanctuary and sat down before an enormous stage with the finest rock and roll equipment money can buy.  The front of the Auditorium had huge screens and a little balcony where I expected Rapunzel to let down her hair.  At one point the Pastor came out on that balcony.  When the service started, the amps were set at full ear busting levels, and the children behind me started to cry in fear.  Smoke arose and the rock singers and musicians did their stuff wearing the tightest of jeans. I was in a full blown Satanic Service, and after enduring this for twenty minutes, I walked out through the darkness, past the thugs who were standing as  guards at the door.

I wrote a post on this experience at Starlitgardens.  My one reader, who I will call LeopMeroz, apparently got worried for my safety.  In one hour, this one reader looked at this one post 250 times! It stood out like a tall tower on my Stats page.  Well, later I decided to turn Starlitgardens into more of a home décor, gardening type blog as I was selling a few items over at under the same name.  I erased all of those posts I had been communicating with LeopMeroz on.  He would make comments at times, using a hacker program where he would come into my stats page and leave comments.  He was always using fake websites to create comments on the Spam page also.  When he decided to push the Follow button, he once used a fake website called The Sons of Lucifer, and another time he used a  fake web site featuring a man with a very strange upswept hair-do who lives in Indonesia.

At my new site, Tracking The Leopard Meroz,   I wandered around the Calvinista camp for awhile, and did some other things which I cannot even remember what they were, unless I go back and look.  At one point I thought my blog had said all that was needed to be said, even though I had gained another mysterious reader.  For about 6 months I did no posts.  I was listening at night to Hagmann & Hagmann out of curiosity, while at the same time sewing, painting, or playing Spider Solitaire.  Then on February 10, 2015 everything changed, as I listened to this radio show featuring Doug Hagmann and Steve Quayle.  I was prompted to read their article called Setting the Record Straight: Joint Response Addressing the Character Assassinations Underway .  At that point, I had never even heard of Marinka Peschmann, nor of Michael Erevna of

I read all of the articles on all these blog sites very carefully which were related to the February 10th Joint Response, and on February 20, 2015 added my two cents on Tracking the Leopard Meroz.  The more I looked into the Alternative Media and the Hagmann/Quayle inner circle of friends, the more I was able to discern the source of their commentary in answer to  Hotel California’s dilemma, “This could be heaven or this could be Hell”.  Things keep getting odder and odder.  I have thought of just walking away from Hotel California many a time.  But the Last thing I remember, I was running for the door.  I had to find the passage back to the place I was before.  “Relax” said the night man, “We are programmed to receive.  You can check out any time you like, But you can never leave!”

Looks like I will hanging around Hotel California, a little longer.  I think I can  even hear the notes of it being sung around the campfire at Camp Quayle, with Paul McGuire, the former hippy California guy leading the choir.  On a dark desert highway….Welcome to Hotel California…what a nice surprise…bring your alibis….Mirrors on the ceiling,  the pink champagne on ice, and she said, “we are all just prisoners here, of our own device”.

Hecklers and Heretic Hunters

Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.  Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.  Hebrews 5:10-14

Once upon a time ago I was born into a family where my father was an atheist and my mother had undefined religious beliefs, a type of  spiritualism  similar to that of the Word of Faith heresy.  At age ten, I began going to a Presbyterian church with my best friend who lived next door.  Her mother had once been taught some things from the Bible, but her parents never  accompanied her to church either. My theology was basically taught to me by other fourth and fifth grade children.  Therefore if I now exhibit a strong tendency toward independent thinking, it arose out of necessity.

I have had more than my fair share of hecklers along the way. At some point into my marriage I discovered that my husband is a 32 degree Mason, that his grandfather was a Knights Templar, his father also a Mason and his mother an Eastern Star. They all assured me that they were Christians, because they had been baptized as children. One day in Seguin Texas, as I sat in the library of a small Lutheran college reading  Spurgeon, my eyes lit upon a book called Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, by Albert Pike.  I read large portions of it, trying to understand what was behind Freemasonry.  I confronted the Masons in my family with what I read.  My experience with hecklers soon grew by leaps and bounds.

I am not really sure exactly when I became blacklisted by the Freemasons.  One day, which I had thought was going to be a hopeful day, my Pastor came to my house to “witness” to my husband.  After he left, my husband laughed because unbeknownst to me, the Pastor was a Freemason, and had given him a Masonic handshake. My husband reassured me that I could never come between the two of them.  I was shocked that someone who was supposed to be my Christian pastor was a traitor to the flock.  I reproved the Pastor, and he was greatly angered;  from then on it did not matter what church I walked into, it became apparent that I had been placed on some sort of  blacklist.

The other day  a heckler showed up on another internet site with a snide comment on my Paul McGuire posts,  which had been reposted by a member of a private forum.   I was not surprised that the heckler did not bother to post a comment directly to my blog. Generally, my critics usually send some sort of anonymous threat by snail mail.  Unlike them, I am easily found,  and in most situations, I go by my real name, have photos on the internet of my house, and have always been generally accessible. On the rare occasion that I have used an alias/fictional front such as Aurora Justicia, it is easily traceable to me.  Having lived so long in a world surrounded by persons who are not Christians, one of my main objectives in life has simply been to be an honest person with an unfeigned faith. Considering that I have had to overcome a natural shyness, being forthright has been a challenge.

Now what did my most recent Heckler write? He commented,  Ahh, a heretic hunter who graces the forum with his knowledge and guidance.  It would seem from this and other articles, you would throw every believer to the wolves, who disagrees with your ideology.  Shame on you.  It is time you got off the milk and repent of what you do.

What do I observe from the content of this comment?  First of all, there is actually a reference to the scriptures through the use of the word “milk”.  At the top of the post, I have noted the scripture reference which was alluded to, and included Hebrews 5:10 which is the last part of a full sentence on the priesthood of Jesus Christ.  Over the years,  I have listened to sermons on this passage which have said that the strong meat deals with the comprehension of the Melchisedec priesthood of The Son of God. In America, the predominate religious denomination which claims to have a Melchisedec priesthood is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, commonly referred to as The Mormons.

It has been quite a while since I have personally heard the term Heretic Hunter, and so I looked it up on the internet.  Ahh yes, back in 1993 a book was published by Huntington House called Heresy Hunters which was written by James R. Spencer, an Ex-Mormon who became a pastor of a local Four Square Church.  The two posts which prompted The Heckler to comment concerned Paul McGuire, a Senior Pastor who claims ordination by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.  There is a strong likelihood that The Heckler’s use of the term heretic hunter came from his familiarity with Spencer’s book.

James Spencer still maintains a website  I have read portions of his material, and he is a gentleman writer.  I had no theological argument with the words presented on paper in the several articles which I had actually read. Since I do not have his book on hand, I want to post two of the critical comments by readers of Heresy Hunters which are posted on

Posted October 19, 2002, Maestro writes, “James Spencer is an ex-Mormon who ought to understand a thing or two about heresy and the importance of TRUE Christian doctrine.  If Mormonism is NOT a heresy, Spencer had no reason to convert from his former position.  It is this fact that saddens me in his counter-attack upon anybody and everybody who is not a Word of Faith Christian.  Spencer’s experiential Christianity is every bit as bad as his previous experience with Mormonism.  I want to keep it clean, but Spencer’s book is typically spineless.  He has NO problem lambasting the ministry of John McArthur (whose cessationism Spencer despises; Spencer devoted an entire chapter to MacArthur), but he doesn’t want teachers who are DEMONSTRABLY lying (like Paul Crouch, Mike Warnke, and Benny Hinn) to be called to account for their lies.”

Maestro continues, “Heresy hunting is a new inflammatory term that was invented to dismiss any honest inquiry. Spencer defends this position immaculately, but his entire book misses the point.  Paul Crouch, who wrote the forward, states that ‘one theologian’s heresy is another theologian’s orthodoxy’.  He further claims that contending for the faith (mentioned in Jude 3) refers to Christ, the virgin birth, crucifixion, resurrection, forgiveness by cleansing blood, and future judgment are the only “essentials”.  Crouch concludes by writing, “beyond these absolute essentials… there is infinite room for honest men and women to disagree…”  Thus, according to Paul Crouch – who again, wrote the forward- the authority and infallibility of Scripture, the Trinity, salvation by grace ALONE are NOT essential to saving faith.  It is for this reason that both Crouch and his hired defender, Spencer, completely miss the mark….”  (The rest of his comment can be read on the Amazon link above.) The author of this comment has entitled it Caught With Their Hands in The Cookie Jar.

Another book reviewer, David L. Rattigan, wrote on October 24, 2000, “One is left with the feeling that whilst in principle it is right to judge doctrine, even publicly, in practice there are not many ways of doing this without offending someone of James’ sensibility.  He feels that certain teachers have been unfairly criticized for their ‘little gods’ doctrine, yet the only evidence he offers for this is a very shallow comparison with the patristic doctrine of divinisation.  He fails to reasonably demonstrate, with evidence, exactly what is wrong with the critiques that have been levelled at this teaching.  ….there are helpful points which need to be heard by the ‘heresy hunters’, and they are very serious points to do with integrity and honesty.  It is just unfortunate that the tone of this book seems to pander to those whose teachings raise the most concerns (hence the book’s popularity at TBN) and comes across as a defense of Word-Faith etc. an approach which will only alienate those who need to hear some of its warnings.”

Rapture has posted two sets of quotations; one from Paul Crouch, and the other from Benny Hinn, which embody their opinions of “heresy hunters”Paul Crouch said in a Praise-a-thon, April 2, 1991, “To hell with you! Get out of my life!  Get out of the way!…I say get out of God’s way!  Quit blocking God’s bridges or God’s going to shoot you if I don’t…I don’t even want to even talk to you or hear you! I don’t want to see your ugly face!”

The second Rapture Ready quote entitled, Benny Hinn Cursing Heresy Hunters is actually a conversation between Hinn and Paul Crouch, seen September 10, 1999 on Praise The Lord, Trinity Broadcasting Newtwork.

BH:  In that service (Denver, CO) the Lord had me place blessings and cursing-you remember that.
PC:  I was there.
BH:  You know, these kinds of things I just don’t like to do.  I frankly don’t enjoy hearing anybody do it.  But Paul, there are people who want to destroy ministries, who would love to destroy TBN, destroy our ministry, destroy any ministry and every ministry they can…We had certain people at one time after our ministry who would harass us and do all kinds of crazy things-went on for probably a year and a half- I was preaching in South Africa one day and Fred Roberts, who’s an apostle said, “Why don’t you speak judgment?” he said.  I said “What are you talking about?”  He said, “You are entitled now- because they blasphemed the Holy Spirit- to tell God what you want to see done.”
PC:  Because they were attributing your works to the devil.
BH:  To the devil, exactly.
PC:  Just like they did Jesus.
BH:  You see, the second they attribute the work of God to Satan, we as believers step into-legally step into a place where we can ask God to stop them.
PC:  Amen. Amen.   (shows video from Denver)
BH:  Yes, Lord, I’ll do it. I place a curse on every man and every woman that will stretch his hand against this anointing.  I curse that man who dares to speak a word against this ministry.  But any man and any woman that raises his or her hand in blessing towards this ministry, I bless that man.  I bless that home! I bless that family….Under this anointing, the words I speak cannot fall to the ground.  Under this anointing, everything I say, happens.

The Heckler accused me of throwing every believer to the wolves who disagrees with my ideology.  Well my “ideology” is the whole counsel of God as found in a King James Holy Bible.  Is it wrong for me to be concerned for the souls of those around me?  In Acts 20:26-30, the Apostle Paul said, “Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.  For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

The Moderator of the General Discussion on the forum where The Heckler made his comment, directly responded with his own insightful, but succinct, observations.  He reminded the commenter that the forum requires that its members attack the subject, rather than resorting to the ad hominem argument.   I would ask that the commenter, if he indeed has any factually based arguments against my posts,  to please let us know what logical argument can be made against my thesis and evidence.

Six Frogs Over Jerusalem

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world,
to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.  Revelation 16:14

6 Frogs over Jerusalem

6 Frogs over Jerusalem

We all have our delusions.  For instance, when my husband stands in front of a mirror trimming his beard, he is convinced that he is Sean Connery himself.  And when I whip out the feather duster, I transform into a Ninja goddess, who with cat-like agility, can back flip up onto a counter top to reach the highest cobwebs.  I imagine that Paul McGuire has his delusions also.  Perhaps he is ready for the day when some thug pulls a gun on him.  In response he will whip out his wallet, and display his honorary membership in the Black Panthers Party, as the robber backs off in total awe.

Paul McGuire is even ready if Jesus comes back today.  He will whip out a signed copy of his latest book, The Babylon Code,  due to come out October 6, 2015, and when the Lord retorts, “I never knew you”, he will point out that he, Paul McGuire, received an endorsement from Pat Boone. Who?, I can imagine Jesus will ask.  Well, recent rumors  declared that Pat Boone had died, but now he seems to have been brought  back from the dead.  Here is his endorsement of The Babylon Code,  Would you listen to a Bible prophet if he wrote you today?  Well, Paul McGuire and Troy Anderson are legitimately an “Isaiah and Jeremiah” for today!  They know God, they hear his voice, and they read the signs all around us.  We’re absolute fools not to pay heed.

Wow, today’s Isaiah and Jeremiah!!!!

On October 22, 2014, the world was informed in an article entitled, Paul McGuire Live Jerusalem God TV Prophecy Show Paul McGuire, that “Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist, Troy Anderson is writing a major story on this for one of the most influential magazines in the U. S. – more info on that to come!  Paul McGuire: I just got back from Jerusalem where I was seeking the Lord at the Wailing Wall and did a live broadcast with God TV where God TV co-founder Wendy Alec, announced that God TV was going full speed ahead with the major prophecy TV show series that I will be hosting and producing for God TV.  The show will feature Bible prophecy teachers like Chuck Missler, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn of the Harbinger, LA Marzulli, Tom Horn, Gary Stearman, Bob Ulrich, many of the PITN/Pike’s Peak Prophecy Summit teachers, “Doc” Beshore, Tim LaHaye, Bill Salus, Chris Putnam, Steve Quayle, Jack Hayford, Stan Deyo, Presidents, Prime Ministers, top military generals, scientists, Hollywood celebrities who follow Paul McGuire’s prophecy teaching and many, many others!”

So Paul McGuire, Steve Quayle, Stan Deyo, Tom Horn, Chris Putnam, and LA Marzulli will be like 6 frogs holding hands in a sky jump over Jerusalem!!! Hey Hagmann and Hagmann, better start speaking prophetic utterances, or you will be left behind.  Do you know who else is on (God forbid), GOD TV?  Benny Hinn, that crook and false healer, and of course, John Hagee, who has declared that Jews are saved by their special DNA and covenant with God in the Old Testament.  Jesus is for Gentiles, not Jewish blue bloods. The owners of GOD TV also backed that rascal Todd Bentley and his infamous revivals, where he kicked some old lady, cheated on his wife, and spewed out his demonic frogisms. Paul McGuire now can be seen on his own show on GOD TV, called The Apocalypse and The End Times.

Notice the Eye, I mean I of Paul McGuire

Notice the Eye, I mean, the I of Paul McGuire

So what does Jerusalem think about all this? Well The Jerusalem Post posted an article by Steve Linde on May 26, 2007 called, Live from Jerusalem, it’s GOD TV  Linde’s final sentence says, “Britain’s Channel 4 has reportedly commissioned a critical, hour-long investigative documentary about GOD TV, due to be aired later this week.” Since Linde was discussing GOD TV’s detractors, this report was probably not flattering.

On December 6, 2010, Richard Silverstein wrote an article called Isaiah Weeps:  Jewish National Fund, GOD-TV Erase Bedouin Village to Bring Jesus’ Second Coming.  Isaiah weeps?  Did he mean Paul McGuire? No,  Israel still thinks of the original Isaiah when they hear that name mentioned.   A second witness to this tragedy is Jonathan Cook who wrote an article dated December 28, 2010 for Counter Punch, called GOD-TV helps Israel Oust BedouinsForget small numbers. Don’t worry if a little Bedouin village is wiped out with the money you have sent to GOD TV.  No blood on your hands, right? What GOD TV  is fighting is The Battle for 1 Billion Souls.  Send more money now, quick!!

As Paul McGuire’s blog exhorts us, “Pray for us as millions of souls will be won to Jesus Christ with the most powerful series of Bible prophecy TV show programs ever aired on a television network!  Paul McGuire (says) The prophecy programs I will be hosting and producing for God TV will be very powerful and cutting edge prophecy programs… the kind of powerful programs that will draw in unbelievers by the millions around the world!  I believe that these prophetic programs will ignite the fires of a Biblical revival, where Biblical truth is proclaimed and where God’s people will be taught the prophetic Word, exhorted to repent and cry out to God in a manner rarely heard over TV and radio….When you stop playing church and obey the Lord and get on the front lines of a spiritual battle, you need intercessory prayer warriors to stand in the Gap for you!”

I for one will be standing in the gap, praying and interceding for those souls who are trodden under foot by GOD TV and its false prophets.

You dare to demand that we stop playing church, Mr. McGuire??  Well, when do you start playing church, Mr. Senior Pastor of the Mailbox Church? Your voice must be getting a little croaky from all those exhortations echoing from within your UPS mailbox, as you count up your tax exempt donations.
