Oracles of a Strange God: The Curse of the Heart of Fornication

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”  Romans 11:33

There is a truth revealed in John 10:1-5 which applies even to a young believer in Jesus Christ, which says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.  But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.  To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him:  for they know his voice.  And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.”

I was reflecting on these verses, when I first read the ten prophecies given to Steve Quayle from 1987 to 2014, which are published on his website  The voice which one hears when reading these prophetic words is not that of God the Father, The Son Jesus Christ, nor the Holy Spirit, but the voice of a stranger.  When one reads the King James Holy Bible, year after year from Genesis to Revelation, the succinctness of the words of God leaves an impression on the heart.  The words written down by Steve Quayle are wordy, verbose, of a different spirit. Whenever anyone claims that what he has written is Thus Saith the LORD, the implication is that those words are on the same level as the Scriptures, and in addition we are being cautioned to “touch not the Lord’s anointed”.   With this beginning, let us look more closely at the first prophecy given to Quayle on October 20, 1987 at 6:00 a.m.

This first prophecy is shorter than the rest, and begins, “For the Lord has a controversy with you, America!  For it was I who brought you forth to establish you as a Holy Nation unto Myself.  I formed you to magnify My Name in the earth and to be an example of righteousness to the nations of the world.  Yet you have corrupted yourself and have become like chaff.  As the winds of adversity blow, you shall be separated and I, the living God, will deal with your nation!”

So the voice speaking to Steve Quayle claims to be the founder of the United States of America.  I want to emphasize this first paragraph of the first prophecy in order to make the point that Steve Quayle had sufficient evidence in 1987 to comprehend that he had received an oracle from a strange god. The speaker of this oracle claims that our nation was formed as a Holy Nation to magnify his name in the earth by being an example of righteousness to the other nations of the world. Thus it is implied that America has a covenant relationship with the speaker. In later oracles, these phrases are used:  “the land your forefathers made with me in covenant”, and “the covenant of life that I made with your forefathers and whom I blessed with a nation unlike any other in the history of the world”.  So what covenant was this?

The major documents underlying the foundation of our nation are The Declaration of Independence dated July 4, 1776, and The Constitution (and Bill of Rights). The Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787, and became binding when ratified by nine out of thirteen states.  It was Thomas Jefferson who drafted The Declaration of Independence between June 11 and June 28, 1776. The Preamble has this phrase, “it is the Right of the People… to institute new government…”. There is no evidence of a covenant with the God of the holy Bible.

It needs to be pointed out that it was Thomas Jefferson who created his own Bible by cutting out the parts he did not like.  If you go online to Wikipedia, and type in “Jefferson Bible”, there is a fairly good article, of which the first paragraph reads, “The Jefferson Bible, or The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth as it is formally titled, was a book constructed by Thomas Jefferson in the latter years of his life by cutting and pasting with a razor and glue numerous sections from the New Testament as extractions of the doctrine of Jesus.  Jefferson’s condensed composition is especially notable for its exclusion of all miracles by Jesus and most mentions of the supernatural, including sections of the four gospels which contain the Resurrection and most other miracles and passages indicating Jesus was divine.” If the God of the Bible founded The United States of America as a holy nation unto himself, why did he employ Jefferson as his scribe?

LORD Jehovah founded only one nation on the earth as a Theocracy, and that is Israel. As Deuteronomy 32:12 says, “So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him”. The Preamble of The Constitution says, “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”  The Declaration of  Independence used the phrase “the Right of the People”, and The Constitution emphasizes “We the People”. The spirit behind these documents is the same as the church of the Laodiceans, which means “justice of the people” or “civil rights of the people”. The Laodiceans were sent a letter (Revelation 3:14-22) written by Jesus Christ as “The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God”. It would appear that this church had locked him outside of their assembly.  The underlying presumption of Steve Quayle that the God of the Bible came to him with ten prophecies, is without foundation.

The idea that there is another nation taking the place of Israel is often taken from several scriptures.  We read in Matthew 21:42-44, “Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner:  this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?  Therefore I say unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken:  but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”

Later,  I Peter 2:9-10 declares, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:  which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”  This Holy Nation is comprised of genuine believers in the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  The Apostle Paul says in Romans 9:30-33, “What shall we say then?  That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness , have attained  to righteousness , even the righteousness which is of faith.  But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.  Wherefore?  Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law.  For they stumbled at  that stumbling stone; As it is written, behold,  I lay in  Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offence:  and whosoever  believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

The Apostle Paul declared in Romans 1:16-17, “For I am not  ashamed of the gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”  Israel was created as a nation unto God, and was promised the land given to Abraham.  All of the laws and patterns of the tabernacle, etc. were to enable the Israelites to worship the true God and to comprehend the salvation of their souls from sin by the sacrifice of the Son of God.  There is nothing in American history which backs up the assertions of Steve Quayle’s Strange god, that there is any other nation on earth which is a Holy Nation displaying the righteousness of a Holy God.

So just who is the founder of the United States of America?  Well, in one of the later prophecies  Strange god addresses America as the daughter of Babylon and the Great Whore.  Originally Babylon was founded by Nimrod.  Genesis 10:8-10 says, “And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.  He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD”.  Nimrod is closely associated with leopards, and their hunting skills. And in Revelation 13 we find a beast with a body of a leopard who is associated with the Antichrist. Later a city and a tower were built which caused the LORD to come down, and in Genesis 11:6, “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”.

If you should read Quayle’s ten prophecies, and you are a reader of the Bible, does it not appear to you that there is a lot of “cutting and pasting” of scripture going on? An interesting fact concerning these prophecies is that they have been copyrighted by Steve Quayle, who also has trademarked his own name. Well, Babylon is certainly known for its commercialism, and especially its profaning of holy things.  The only Bible without a copyright is the King James Holy Bible; all modern translations are copyrighted.  What is more, the spirit speaking to Quayle uses a lot of the modern translator’s words such as demons instead of devils. Yet  Strange god claims to be “The Lord who brought you forth to establish you as a Holy Nation unto Myself; I, the living God; the Lord; the Lord God your deliverer; your God; I, the Lord God; thus saith the Lord God of Heaven, the Word of the Living God; the Lord God of Hosts; the Word of the High and Holy Lord of Hosts, the Glory of the Latter Rain”.

One question came to my mind, for which I do not know the answer.  Did Steve Quayle have his survival store and gold business before these prophecies?  Or after receiving the news of impending judgments, did he get the bright idea to take personal advantage of this dire situation, by fleecing the flock? At any rate, the form of the pending judgments shown in these oracles against America (and also the world financial system) are “winds of adversity, a great curtain of darkness, shaken, idols torn down, in one day I will bring down their financial system, food runs out, drought, famine, total chaos,death, sorrow, wild beasts, attacks from tribes of men, a cup of cold fury for the East Coast, great fires and drought for the West Coast,collapse of the infrastructure, the White House judged as the house of blood and perversion, other nations to divide the spoil, foreign armies, weather with unparalleled damage and destruction, diseases, plagues, pestilence, the trap is set, the hunter of men’s souls is truly poised to strike, supernatural evil spirits, everything turned upside down, the restrainer will no longer restrain, food-water-air poisoned, fountains of the deep dry up, your destruction falls like lightning, sold into slavery”.

When are these judgments?  Remember that the first prophecy was in 1987, and the last in 2014.  But on February 10, 2015, the Hagmann and Hagmann radio show featuring Steve Quayle was entitled, Warnings End & The Events Begin. So in order from first to last, the prophecies describe “darkness about to descend; now the time allotted to your country has run out, in a little while the judgment of the Almighty upon idols of your country; very soon; the keys to my judgment have now been unlocked; as history comes to it culmination; I am about to do a mighty thing, the time is very late; the last sand through the hour glass has already passed; under judgment; I will withhold my hand in judgment no longer; my Herald angels have sounded their trumpets at my command, releasing my judgments; the warnings have now ended, now  the release; the time of the Great Whore’s destruction draws close; my fury and wrath about to be unleashed.”

Numerous sins are listed which Strange god says he will not judge, if America repents and turns back to him. One of his odd complaints has to do with casting aside widows and orphans.  Considering how much America does to uphold the weak, especially compared to the rest of the world, I do not understand why this is on the list. And like Strange god, Steve Quayle has a pet peeve with gossip.  One of the most interesting features is that abortion, lust, and homosexual perversion are condemned but the word fornication is absent.  Given that Revelation 17-18 reveals that the major feature of the whore of Babylon is Fornication, and this is mentioned several times, one wonders if fornication is a hidden sin of the god of these prophecies. But someone who uses the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, yet believes in the words of strange gods is considered to be a spiritual fornicator.

Considering that the father of the United States of America, George Washington, was a freemason, and swore oaths to Lucifer, and a number of the signers of our founding documents were also of that brotherhood, why does the founder/god of America rail against this?  Is Nimrod, or Meroz, or any other member of the Order of the Leopard a competing god of Lucifer? Do  they consider that their order is higher than the order of freemasonry? And what righteousness does any one of them have?

Perhaps Isaiah 28:15-18 sheds some light on the covenant the United States of America has with Strange god.  “Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us:  for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:  therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation:  he that believeth shall not make haste.  Judgment will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.  And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.”


The Creation & Evolution of The Interpreter of the Mysteries

What does one put into a petri dish to create a clone of The Interpreter of the Mysteries who has condescended to come down to us in human form?

I can’t recall ever hearing about Kent Hovind before this month.  But when the Hagmann, Quayle, Zilinksy, former Prophecy Club  speakers started fussing over the martyrdom of a man who calls himself Dr. Dino, I decided to take a second look. Yesterday I  listened to Dr. Scott Johnson of Contending for the Truth,  formerly a  Prophecy Club speaker, lament the travesty of injustice done against Kent Hovind.  He describes him as a humble man who has brought many to salvation, who will greatly be rewarded in heaven.  Now Coach Dave Daubenmire has entered the fray, suggesting that Hovind should be tried by a jury of his peers, i.e. Christians who believe in creation, and not evolution.  Well, put me on that jury!  I am a King James Bible Believer and once held membership in an independent fundamentalist Baptist church, etc. etc. etc.

When I first heard the laments about Hovind’s tax judgments,  I found the claims that he is being persecuted for his creation views to be dubious, and thought that if anyone was persecuting him, there must be a deeper reason.  Well, I listened further to the things said on his behalf, and decided to search the internet for clues to this mysterious martyr of the faith, and found loads of information from friends and foes alike.

In short, Kent Hovind is a tax fraud, pure and simple, and deserving of a prison sentence. However, he seems to regard himself as The Interpreter of the Mysteries, come down in human form, and therefore he is above all those laws imposed on us mere mortals, whether it be tax laws, building permits, or what have you.  Hovind has been praised for taking a vow of poverty, which me thinks that this is a vow which is easy to keep while in prison.   But if you read the Wikipedia article on Kent Hovind note the amount of money he had made in one year on dinosaur/creation merchandise!  The fact that his supporters have misrepresented the facts of his case, causes me to understand the depth of their own depravity a little better.

I am most disappointed that Dr. Scott Johnson has gone down to Pensacola in support of Kent Hovind, as I rather like Johnson as a person.  But this action of his causes me to wonder if he is suffering from strong delusion, and not deserving of his “calling”  as another Watchman on the wall.  When the atheists on the web can quote the correct scriptures as a rebuttal to Kent Hovind’s fraudulent character, then it is time to back up, and have a second look.

I trust no one, especially one who claims to be a Christian, who obtains his degrees from unaccredited colleges. Why this need to be referred to as a Doctor?   What does Dr. Dino think 2 Timothy 2:15 means when it commands, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” Does Hovind think that God approves of a lazy evangelist who has to fake his way through his “calling” as a “creation science evangelist”? What scriptures even back up such an approach to evangelism?  Hovind made a great amount of money selling merchandise in connection with his dinosaur business, and apparently never filed a tax return. One critic of Hovind’s Dinosaur exhibit said it was shabby, shabby, shabby.  Could Dr. Dino’s theme park not even get one compliment such as “Shabby Chic“?

I once was a member of an independent fundamentalist church, and attended three others, and I am very familiar with their doctrine.  I grew tired of preachers who refused to preach the whole counsel of God, and so I sought it elsewhere. While some persons who investigated Kent Hovind were unable to get a copy of his doctoral dissertation, I found a copy at  It is a peculiar read,  as if he had taken several years of sermon notes scrawled on the back of  church worship guides, and threw them into his thesis.  Now Hovind’s dissertation is a bit odd, as I cannot locate an actual clear thesis statement, one which identifies his “claim” followed by a “because” statement of reason.  Precision seems to a feature of evidence which is lacking in Hovind’s thesis, as well as in his speech and other writings.  We must understand that a thesis is a statement or argument, supported by evidence, which should be convincing to a critical reader.

For some reason Hovind keeps referring to his dissertation as a book, over and over again. Perhaps while he was assembling this document, he was hoping to later sell it in book form in his Dino gift shop someday. Maybe this is his thesis: “In this book I’ll be covering, in a nutshell, the creation/evolution controversy.  I will explain why it is so important, the effects that the theory of evolution has had on our society, the creation alternative, and what we should do about it the problem.”

Why not a thesis statement such as, “The theories of evolution are unsupportable by scientific research, because evolution was in fact created as a justification for worshiping the creature, rather than the Creator”?  But no, to muddy the waters further,  Hovind continues on, “I only ask that you realistically look at the ideas presented and ask yourself the simple question,  ‘Does this key open the lock, does this answer the question?’  If it does–it just might be right.”  It just might be right?  When you introduce the “Uncertainty Principle” into your “thesis”, how can I be convinced by anything you say?  How about clarifying what your dissertation is asserting? How about having a conclusion based on evidence, which the reader can grasp?  Shouldn’t a dissertation contain a few footnotes, and maybe some source quotes from the evolutionists themselves?  Lazy, lazy, lazy.  The closest you will get me to calling you “Doctor”, is the caricature you have given of yourself as Dr. Dino. Or is that Dr. Dunno?

In I Timothy 6, Paul speaks of the importance of servants treating their masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.  This is an important doctrine and I agree with it. However, I did find that fundamentalist Pharisees tend to bludgeon anyone on the head, with this type of scripture,  if anyone should wonder out loud “why the king has no clothes on”.   The verses which follow (I Timothy 6: 3-6) regarding the person who is disrespectful of the proper authority given by God, says, “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:  from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain.”

Kent Hovind and his most famous supporters seem to be all merchandisers, supposing that gain is godliness.  Thus from such clones of the Interpreter of the Mysteries, to whom we are supposed to bow the knee, I withdraw myself.
